Statement of purpose
The SIGIR Forum is the official newsletter of the ACM Special Interest Group on Information Retrieval (SIGIR). The SIGIR Forum consists of two issues (June, December) and serves as a medium for the dissemination of general information and opinions on matters of interest to the IR community, conference and workshop reports, papers and book reviews, and PhD dissertation abstracts.
Unless specifically stated, its contents do not represent the official position of SIGIR or ACM. Contributions to the Forum are unrefereed working papers unless otherwise indicated.
The upcoming issue is June 2024. Submissions are due by 15 May.

Please use the LaTex template for your submission, and follow the instructions. We have also prepared a checklist to help authors make sure their submission follows the template.
